Bean cooling not working
If your beans aren’t cooling down, there might be something wrong with the bean cooler system.
Procedure:
Check your fan settings. On the touchscreen menu go to MACHINE SETTINGS and check that bean cooling % is set to 90%, and bean cooling idle is set to a minimum of 50%. You can adjust it higher if you wish, and see if this helps.
Let your roaster cool completely down, and remove the exhaust pipe in the back.
The easiest thing to check is that the impeller at the exhaust exit at the back of the roaster is spinning. The right impeller when facing the back of the roaster belongs to the bean cooling system. If this is not spinning when the roaster is turned on, you need a new motor.
If the impeller is spinning, the next step is to check that the hose transporting air between the cooling tray and the exhaust exit is intact. This requires you to remove the top plate and left-hand side panel when facing the front of the roaster. The hose you’re inspecting is shown in the photo below.
If the hose is damaged or this doesn’t solve your problem, please contact support for further investigation.
