Sounds from the drum: Adjusting the paddles
If you’re experiencing metallic sounds from the drum, it can be because of paddles that need aligning.

Step by step
Optional: Remove the orange hose for a better view.
When you have a clear view of the insides of your roaster from the left-hand side, locate the bearing. It is located in the middle of the roaster near the RPM plate and pulley. You will start by adjusting the grub screw on the bearing. The video below showing how to align the paddles starts from this stage:
